Is the waterproof Dricast cover NZ made?

All our products are proudly designed, tested and manufactured in NZ.

100% of the manufacturing, marketing, sales and distribution is undertaken in New Zealand by New Zealand owned and operated businesses.

We prefer to support NZ businesses first and not lining the pockets of overseas interests.

Is the Dricast cover reusable?

Absolutely.

Dricast Covers are designed to be used again and again through-out the duration of your rehab. Used correctly they will last the length of any regular cast rehab. If they don't, contact us for a complimentary replacement.

Can I use this cover for swimming?

Absolutely.

Our cast covers provide waterproof protection for up to 20 minutes, so you can safely enjoy short swimming sessions or hydrotherapy.

How and when will I receive my Dricast waterproof cast cover?

As Dricast Covers are usually required ASAP, shipping is via Courier.

This is a flat fee added to the cost for all NZ orders on check out.

Orders received prior to 3pm are dispatched the same day, after 3pm the following day.

Courier schedules are responsible for delivery once collected. For most non rural areas it should reach you within 1-2 business days. Rural delivery can take a day or so longer. We provide you with tracking numbers for each delivery within your receipt.

Overseas orders are also couriered. An additional flat fee is added on checkout for shipping overseas.

How water resistant is my Dricast waterproof cast cover?

Your Dricast Cover is totally waterproof if used correctly and the fitting instructions are followed.

Because of its seal, water cannot penetrate into the cover and will keep your cast, bandage or wound completely dry.

What activities does the Dricast waterproof cast cover allow me to undertake?

You can bathe, shower, swim or undertake hydrotherapy to aid in rehabilitation.

How durable is my Dricast waterproof cast cover?

If used properly and the fitting instructions are followed it is durable enough to be used in almost all indoor situations.

The arm model can also easily be used in outdoor situations. However extreme care should be taken with the leg covers in outdoor situations to not walk on them.

Walking on the cover could cause the cover to puncture. The leg models are recommended more for outdoor pool use (fit at the pool edge) as opposed to in the ocean where you will be required to walk on a sandy/rocky base that could easily puncture the cover.

How do I clean and store the cover?

Simply rinse with warm water after use and let it air dry.

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to maintain its quality.

Is it safe for kids and adults?

Absolutely.

We have both adult and child sizes so are designed for all ages.

How long can I use the Dricast waterproof cast cover for?

It is recommended that you only use your cover for approx. 15-20 minutes at a time. Any longer and potentially condensation from use/sweat could build up and cause dampness and negate the purpose of the cover.

Longevity – Overall your Dricast cover if used and stored correctly will last several months. However being natural latex rubber it will breakdown naturally over time particularly if exposed to light sources.
