Size Guide
Size Guide
Order with confidence.
Use our easy-to-follow guide to find the correct DRICAST cover size and enjoy a smoother recovery.
Step 1: Measure your cast or injured area
Leg models: Measure from the heel to about 5cm past the end of the cast or dressing/bandage to allow enough area to seal to your skin.
Arm models: Measure from the fingertips to about 5cm past the end of the cast or dressing/bandage to allow enough area to seal to your skin.
For arm models that go around a bent elbow, measure the longest distance around the bend.
Measure the circumference of the cast for leg and arm models.
Measuring tip: A soft tape measure is best. If you do not have one, place a piece of string or cord around the cast and hold the area required to be measured. Carefully remove the string, then measure that length with a ruler or tape measure.
Step 2: Check the size table
Ensure you select a cover that will fit over your cast or injury, including both length and circumference.
Child covers tip: Children near puberty may need adult sizes. Choose accordingly based on measurements.
How to Use
How to Use
- Measure your cast or injured area before choosing your size.
- Carefully stretch the DRICAST cover opening and slide it over the cast.
- Position the seal area above the cast or dressing so it sits directly against the skin.
- Check that the seal feels firm, but not too tight.
- Use only while showering, bathing, or swimming.
- After use, remove carefully and allow the cover to dry naturally away from direct light.
Do not use over an open wound unless the wound is covered by a sterile covering and you have followed medical advice.

Kia Ora – sending lots of aroha as your Dricast Cover has made life so much easier for our Whanau. This is one of Aotearoa’s best products! My little mokopuna broke his wrist from falling off his scooter! I took him to the hospital and was told about your Dricast product to help with showering and swimming. What a game changer. I rang the ACC line as instructed with his claim number and being an accident they paid me the cost of it. What a fantastic product and result all up. AND it’s all Aotearoa made – makes me proud we have the ‘can do’ for this sort of thing locally!- Ahurewa P – Kaipiti Coast

Dricast is fantastic – it actually works, unlike many other products that make empty promises. I can put it on myself in just 5 seconds—no leaks and no hassles around plastic and tape with missing areas or taping too tight. And in this day and age I am thrilled it is all NZ made. Makes me feel good to support a totally local product!- Amy - Auckland

Mōrena, I would definitely recommend the Dricast covers! They work - my full-length arm cast stayed dry the whole time in the water, which really saved my holiday. Was perfect, and delivery was quick! Showering suddenly not the painful experience it was. Kiwi made also!!!- Aroha M - Huntly

Thank you so much for your product. I broke my ankle just before going back to the Islands to see family this summer and I was dreading the heat without being able to swim. You saved my holiday as I was able to shower and swim no problem. ACC covered the Dricast cover cost so it was a great solution to what I thought was going to be a nightmare 2 weeks. Thank you again!- Filemu T - Manurewa

Our family first used your Dricast products 30-years ago when our (then) 8–year old son had an accident on his bicycle and broke both his arms just a week before we were heading to Bali on holiday. We purchased 2-arm Dricasts which proved to be a lifesaver for a boy that age as he could swim as much as he wished! He was even able to snorkel dive a down a few metres in the sea with his dricasts which certainly saved the boy’s holiday. Many thanks once again for stocking such a great product.- Graham & Candy F - Auckland

FANTASTIC! My Dricast leg cover worked perfectly over my moon boot. I tore my Achilles so can’t take it off. It has made my rehab life so much easier. I would recommend it to anyone requiring a moon boot. It arrived so quickly. I'm so much happier with what is a long and annoying rehab.- Harrison - Auckland

Just wanted to say how amazing your product is.We bought an arm cast cover for our son for our holiday in Australia, and it saved his (and therefore our) our trip from being a misery! Traveling with friends and their kids, it would have been tough to keep him out of the water, but with the cover, he swam with them all day and loved it.- Jayne P - Masterton
